CaranvaSports is a sports gear rental marketplace. You book gear online from a local rental shop and pick it up ready at the resort or in town. This page sums up, in one place, what you pay, what happens if your plans change and what we do if something goes wrong.
1. Fixed price, no surprises
- You see the total before paying. Some shops take part of the payment online and the rest at pickup: the product page says so before you book.
- The more days, the less you pay per day. Real shop tariff example: a full ski set in Masella costs €23.50 for one day and €64.50 for six days.
- Some weeks are discounted by the shop itself: in Val Thorens, 30% to 50% depending on the week of the season.
- Extras are optional and clearly priced: helmet (usually €6/day), damage insurance on the pages that offer it, snow clothing, lift pass or lessons.
2. Cancellations and changes
- Gear rental: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start. Within 24 hours, or if you don't show up, there is no refund.
- Lift passes at FGC resorts (La Molina, Vall de Núria, Port Ainé, Boí Taüll, Espot and Vallter): the resort's official conditions apply, free up to 48 hours before.
- Lessons and activities: no free cancellation once confirmed; if weather or safety prevent them, another date or a voucher is offered.
- Date changes: request them from the link in your confirmation email; they apply if the shop has availability.

3. CaranvaSports Guarantee
If the shop cannot provide what you booked, we offer you an equal or better alternative at no extra cost or refund 100% of what you paid. We handle the issue for you; you don't have to argue it with the shop.
4. Who serves you
A local rental shop prepares the gear and hands it over. Before you pay, the pickup step of each booking shows the shop, its address and a map, and your confirmation includes its contact details. The shop adjusts the bindings to your weight, height and level at pickup.
5. The numbers
- In the last 12 months customers from 54 countries booked with us (3,670 paid orders).
- There are ski and snowboard rental pages for more than 300 destinations in 14 countries.
- Customer reviews on Judge.me add up to 794 with an average of 4.96 out of 5. Since August 2026 some were left in exchange for a thank-you coupon.
