What to Look For in Alto Campoo Webcams Before You Go
- Is there snow above Reinosa? Check the valley camera and El Chivo. If there's white in the lower areas, snow has come down and the climb may have snow or ice.
- Is it clear up top? Compare La Calgosa with Tres Mares. If up there's fog or snow blowing off the ridges, it's windy and high lifts may shut down.
- How's the snow? Dull surface without tracks after fresh snowfall: new snow. Shiny surface early in the day: hard or frozen snow, better to wait for the sun to soften it.
