Morzine–Les Gets or Portes du Soleil?

  • Morzine–Les Gets: 120 km of marked runs, 71 runs and 47 lifts. From the village you go up by the Pléney gondola or the Nyon–Chamossière cable car, and ski across to Les Gets (Mont Chéry and Les Chavannes). It is the obvious pass for beginners, families and short stays.
  • Portes du Soleil: the Franco-Swiss area of 12 resorts, with 600 km of runs, 208 lifts and 307 runs between 900 and 2,460 m. From Morzine you get in via the Super-Morzine gondola or the Prodains gondola towards Avoriaz. It is worth it if you ski well and stay a week: for €76 more over 6 days (adult) you get five times as many kilometres.

  • For 6 days, the 6-day pass is far cheaper than six single days.
