Grau Roig, the high sector of Grandvalira

Grau Roig is one of the sectors of Grandvalira, in the parish of Encamp, next to the Port d’Envalira road and close to Pas de la Casa. Together with Pas de la Casa, it is one of the highest areas of the ski domain and is usually among the first to open thanks to its altitude and aspect.

How to get there and where to park

Grau Roig is right on the climb up to the Port d’Envalira (CG-2): when there is snow, carry chains or winter tyres. It has a large open area at the foot of the slopes with plenty of free spaces, a good alternative when Pas de la Casa is full.
