Die Tauplitz is Styria’s largest ski area: 43 km of pistes on three mountains – Mitterstein, Lawinenstein and Schneiderkogel – plus the Tauplitzalm, which is car-free in winter and linked to the ski area. From the valley (about 910 m) the lifts reach roughly 1,950 m, and the area is known as Styria’s best freeride terrain.
- Kids (up to 114 cm), Juniors (115–135 cm): kit is chosen by height, not age; the set includes skis, boots and poles.
- Adults (from 136 cm): the usual set for a week on snow.
- Top and Race: high-end skis; the price includes the boots.
- Ski touring: skis with skins, boots and poles.
- Snowboard: board and boots, in two board sizes (up to 130 cm and from 131 cm).

What is included

When you book online you pay 15% of the total; the remaining 85% is paid in the shop when you collect your gear. You see the total before paying.
Where you collect
- Tauplitz-Ort: Tauplitz 277, right at the valley station of the four-seat chairlift. Daily 8:30 to 17:00 (shorter hours between seasons).
- Tauplitzalm: next to the Jugendgästehaus (formerly Hotel Kirchenwirt). Winter only, 9:15 to 15:45.
- The shop is also a ski school (children’s courses from age 4, snowboard, private lessons and cross-country) and does ski servicing: waxing, edge sharpening and binding checks.

- Choose dates, category and equipment; you see the total.
- Pay 15% online.
- Get the confirmation with the pick-up point and opening hours.
- Collect in Tauplitz-Ort or on the Tauplitzalm and pay the rest in the shop.
