Book your ski rental for La Thuile online and ski the whole Espace San Bernardo, the area La Thuile, in Italy’s Aosta Valley, shares with La Rosière across the French border. From the village, at 1,441 m, a gondola and a chairlift take you up to Les Suches (2,200 m) in a few minutes.

Which level should I choose?
- Beginner — for first-timers or anyone who skis a few days a year, mostly on easy (blue) runs: forgiving, easy-to-turn skis. Full set from €22/day.
- Intermediate — for skiers already comfortable on blues and reds who want a more stable ski as speed picks up. From €30/day.
- Advanced — for confident skiers with good technique looking for precision and edge grip on reds and blacks. From €42/day.
- Kids — children’s skis, boots and poles, with bindings set to the child’s weight. From €14/day.
What each package includes
- Full set: skis, boots and poles, with bindings set to your weight, height and level.
- Skis + poles (no boots): if you bring your own boots. €16 a day for Beginner, €22 for Intermediate, €30 for Advanced and €10 for kids.
- Boots only: €9 a day for Beginner, €13 for Intermediate, €18 for Advanced and €6 for kids. If you need poles, add them for €4 a day.

La Thuile in a nutshell
According to lathuile.it, the official website, La Thuile is a village at the far western end of the Aosta Valley. Its slopes link with La Rosière (Savoie) to form the Espace San Bernardo, with a single international lift pass: 156 km and 83 runs (33 easy, 36 intermediate and 14 difficult), 37 lifts (2 gondolas, 19 chairlifts, 11 drag lifts and 5 magic carpets), between 1,200 and 2,800 m, a 1,450 m vertical drop and 477 snow cannons covering 64 km of pistes.
The longest run is no. 7, at 11 km with a 1,100 m drop; the steepest is no. 3, the “Franco Berthod”, with a 76% maximum gradient, which has hosted two women’s Ski World Cup races.
2026/27 season: the La Thuile side opens on 28 November 2026 and closes on 11 April 2027, with lifts running 8:45 am–4:45 pm. The international link with La Rosière opens, weather permitting, from 12 December 2026 to 11 April 2027. If you cross into France, watch the clock: the lifts back to La Thuile close at 4 pm until the last Friday of January and at 4:15 pm after that.
