Ski rental in Ordino at a glance

• Price: full adult set from €23.50 a day and €141 for 6 days. Every day costs the same: the total is the daily price times the number of days.
• What’s included: skis with bindings set to your weight, height and level, boots and poles. A helmet isn’t part of the set: you can hire one separately at the shop.
• Pick-up: Edifici Bringué, Carretera de l'Hortò, baixos 2, AD300 Sornàs (Ordino), 8:30am to 8pm. Parking right outside.
• Return: to the same shop at the end of your last hire day.
• Distance to the lifts: the shop is in the Ordino valley, not at the foot of the slopes. The resort is further up, at the head of the valley: you drive up or take the resort bus from Ordino.
• Services: overnight ski storage included (leave your kit at the shop each evening) and a workshop for waxing, edge sharpening and repairs, including your own skis.
• Cancellation: free up to 24 hours before your pick-up time.

How much is ski rental for several days in Ordino?

Full-set totals by number of days. At this shop every day costs the same, so it’s easy to work out: 3 days in Silver – Mid are €70.50 and a 7-day week is €164.50.

Book online by 15 November 2026 and 10% comes off these totals. You can book up to 30 days in a row; beyond 7, the total appears when you pick your dates.

Which range should you choose for Ordino Arcalís?

• Silver – Mid (from €23.50/day): for beginners and anyone skiing a few days a year on green and blue runs. Easy-turning, forgiving skis.
• Gold – High (from €28/day): for confident red-run skiers who want more grip and stability on hard snow or at higher speeds.
• Platinum / Freeride / Skimo (from €36.50/day): wide skis for powder and off-piste, or touring kit to skin uphill. This is the range that makes sense at Arcalís on a powder day.
• Kids Silver and Kids Gold (from €16 and €21/day): children’s sets with bindings set to the child’s weight.
• Snowboard (from €26/day), with step-on bindings so you can strap in standing up, and splitboard (from €38/day) for skinning up.

If your kit doesn’t feel right, the shop swaps it on the spot; to move up or down a range, ask at the shop.

How to book your ski hire in Ordino

1. Choose skis, snowboard, splitboard or snowshoes, the range and the pack: full set, skis or board only, or boots only.
2. Pick your collection and return dates: the total appears straight away.
3. Enter each person’s height, weight, ability and shoe size, and pay online. Nothing else to pay at the shop.
4. You get a confirmation email with the shop’s address and phone number.

Sizes, boots and kids

You don’t need to know your ski length: the shop works it out from your details. You try the boots on at pick-up and, if they hurt, they’re swapped there and then. For children, enter their real weight, as the bindings are set from it. If you bring your own boots, book skis only (from €20.50/day); if you only need boots, from €15.

Clothing isn’t included. To travel light, there’s also ski clothing rental in Ordino Arcalís.

Ordino Arcalís in brief

Ordino Arcalís sits at the northern tip of Andorra and is part of Grandvalira Resorts. According to the resort, it has 442 hectares of terrain, 30.5 km of pistes and 16 lifts, between 1,940 and 2,625 m. It’s a world reference for off-piste, with 21 zones and 120 freeride routes and a Freeride World Tour stop — yet it also has, the resort says, the longest green run in the Pyrenees.

2026/27 season: opening planned for 4 December 2026 and closing on 4 April 2027, with the slopes open 9am to 5pm; dates depend on snow. A 1-day pass is valid only in Ordino Arcalís; from 2 consecutive days it also covers Pal Arinsal, and from 4 days it includes 1 day in Grandvalira. Without a car, the resort runs a bus from Ordino: first departures at 8:30am and 8:50am, last bus down from Arcalís at 5pm (times change with the resort calendar).

Tips for skiing Ordino Arcalís

• Powder day: book Platinum / Freeride. Off-piste, carry safety gear and, if you don’t know the area, go with a guide or the resort’s freeride school.
• Beginners: the resort sells a 1-day beginner pass, valid only in the beginners’ area.
• Wind and visibility: it’s a high, open resort; check the webcam and the forecast before heading up.
• Non-skiers: with snowshoes (€13/day) they can use the resort’s marked snowshoe areas.
