Ski hire in Astún (Jaca)
Book your kit online, choose the range and the days, and pick it up fitted to your size at our shop in the Edificio Nevado, 15 metres from the Astún lifts. The price is per day and the total is that price times the number of days you choose, so there are no surprises at the counter. Prices for the 2026/27 season.
Ski ranges and prices
- Beginner — for first-timers or anyone who only skis a few days a year: easy-turning, forgiving skis. Full set from €26/day.
- Intermediate — if you’re already comfortable on blues and reds and want more stability. From €32/day.
- Advanced — stiffer, more precise skis for reds, blacks and hard-packed snow. From €44/day.
- Kids (70-135) — children’s sizes, with bindings set to the child’s weight. From €21/day.
There are also snowboards (Intermediate €34/day, Advanced €40/day, kids €27/day), snowblades (€32/day) and snowshoes (€20/day).
What each package includes
- Ski full set: skis with the bindings adjusted, boots and poles.
- Skis only (from €18/day) or boots only (from €11/day), if you already have part of the kit.
- Snowboard full set: board and boots. Board only from €25/day; boots only from €13/day.

Helmets aren’t part of any package, so bring your own.

Where and when to collect and return
You collect your kit at our Astún shop, in the Edificio Nevado (C/ Edificio Nevado s/n, 22889 Astún, Huesca), 15 metres from the lifts. Opening hours: 8:45am to 5pm. When you arrive, the staff fit your boots and set your bindings for your weight, height and level. On your last day, you return everything to the same shop during the same hours.
The Astún lifts run from 9am to 4:30pm, so there’s time to collect before the first lift. For parking, the resort has spaces at the base, just before the lifts, and sells reserved spaces on its website. The shop address is also in your confirmation email.
How booking works
- Choose the type of kit (ski, snowboard, snowblades or snowshoes), the range, and whether you want the full set or a single item.
- Pick your collection and return dates: the total appears straight away.
- Pay online and get a confirmation with the collection address.
- Drop into the shop at the Edificio Nevado, collect your fitted kit and go straight to the slopes. If your plans change, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before.

Astún at a glance
Astún sits at the top of the Aragón valley (Huesca), above Jaca, right by the Somport pass and the French border. The resort base is at 1,658 m. Together with Candanchú it makes up the 100K ski area: according to its official fact sheet, 101 km of pistes, 110 marked runs (14 green, 31 blue, 35 red and 30 black), 40 lifts and 20 km of runs with snowmaking. Astún also has a snowpark, a sledging area and a snow garden for children.
2026/27 season: as of 5 October 2026, Astún hasn’t published its opening date or its day pass prices; check astuncandanchu.com. The Ski Pirineos season pass, valid in Astún, Candanchú, Formigal-Panticosa, Cerler, Javalambre and Valdelinares, costs €959 until 8 October and €1,059 from 9 October to 19 November.
Getting there: on the N-330 from Jaca, or on the Jaca-Astún-Candanchú bus line. Official distances to the ski area: Pamplona 137 km, Zaragoza 168 km, Barcelona 382 km and Madrid 503 km.
Astún, Candanchú or Jaca?
Candanchú is 4 km away and shares the 100K ski area with Astún, but in the 2026/27 season the two resorts are not yet linked by lift: the gondola between them is under construction and its first phase is planned for the 2027/28 season. Collect your kit wherever you’ll start skiing: for Candanchú, book ski hire in Candanchú; if you’re staying in Jaca and would rather drive up with everything in the car, go for ski hire in Jaca.

Tudo perfeito, aluguei um snowboard e contratei o transfer para Vale Nevado. A entrega do material foi muito rapida e o transfer muito bem organizado. Recomando.

I rented a set of skis, boots, and poles from Caranva Sports for a week of skiing with my friends at Valle Nevado - the rental was super easy and there was lots of helpful communication both before and after I had picked up my gear!

el horario de recogida es engañoso, ponía que se puede recoger de 8 a 19 h, llegamos a las 17:50 i estaba cerrado, así que hasta el día siguiente no pudimos recoger el material, corregir lo del horario.
La atención al cliente es muy buena, ya que han rectificado inmediatamente el horario, volveré a comprar, gracias
Todo fue bien con la compra y el alquiler, excepto el último día, cuando a mi hijo le robaron la tabla de surf de alquiler durante la pausa del almuerzo. La tabla estaba junto con las de otros clientes y tuvimos que pagar 150 € por este incidente.

Quedé encantada con la chica de caja y el asesor que me entregó la tabla de snowboard. Sin embargo la chica que me dio la bota NO SIRVE PARA ESTARATENDIENDO AL CLIENTE. Grosera como le habló a un cliente y a mi su forma de contestarme muy mal educada. Si no le gusta lo que hace, que se vaya. Los clientes de esta tienda vamos felices por nuestro equipo en un dia vacacional, y esta señora te corta el buen humor con sus formas. El resto del equipo un 10.

Rápido y claro.
Alquilamos un par de equipos completos durante 3 días. A favor trato inmejorable y horario amplio para poder devolver el material. En contra un par de cosas las botas que me dieron estoy seguro q más de 2 temporadas tenían y un uso frecuente con los ganchos al máximo de tobillo a los dedos del pie mucha holgura, Tuvimos la densidad en el último momento de añadir unas botas más al slquiler de los dos equipos nos lo cobraron a parte sin aplicar descuento no me parece justo pero entiendo q es lo q hay. Muchas gracias
