Candanchú sits in the Canfranc valley in the Aragonese Pyrenees, 28 km from Jaca, 11 km from Canfranc and right by the French border. People have skied here since the 1928-1929 season, making it one of the resorts with the longest history in Spain. It has 25 lifts with capacity for 26,000 people an hour, 135 snow cannons, three cross-country circuits, a snowshoe trail and a snow garden for little ones. The slopes are open 9:00–17:00, and there is a daily scheduled bus from Jaca.
