Where and when do I collect my skis?
- Shop: our partner shop in Pradollano, Plaza de Andalucía, Edificio Monachil, Pradollano (Sierra Nevada, Granada), 2 minutes from the lift.
- Collection hours: 8:30am to 8pm.
- The afternoon before: you can collect the day before your first ski day, within those hours, so on day one you head straight to the slopes.
- Parking: the shop sits above the covered car park under the Plaza de Andalucía, which has 2,644 spaces according to the resort. More options in where to park in Pradollano.
- Return: to the same shop at the end of your last hire day.

Sierra Nevada at a glance
Sierra Nevada is in the province of Granada, in Andalusia, and its base is the resort village of Pradollano, at 2,100 m. According to the resort’s official technical data sheet it has 112.5 km of marked pistes and 139 runs (23 green, 55 blue, 54 red and 7 black), 23 lifts (2 gondolas, 14 chairlifts, 3 drag lifts and 4 magic carpets) and altitudes from 2,100 to 3,300 m: 1,200 m of skiable vertical, the most in Spain. The beginner slopes are at Borreguiles.
2026/27 season: as of 5 October 2026 the resort has not announced its opening date. To open the beginners’ area earlier it has added two Snow Factory snowmaking units, at Borreguiles and on the El Río run; more in Sierra Nevada’s early-bird passes and Snow Factory.
Getting there: from Granada you drive up the A-395, and there is a bus from Granada bus station. The nearest airports are Granada, 47 km away, and Málaga, 172 km away, according to the resort, which is handy if you are staying on the Costa del Sol.
