You book your ski or snowboard equipment for the Skiliftkarussell Winterberg online, choose the level and the days, and collect it ready in your name, with no queueing: your boots are fitted and your bindings set to your weight, height and ability. The price is per day, and the total is that price multiplied by the days you book.

• Silver — if you already ski blue and red runs confidently and want more stability. From €30/day.
• Gold — for advanced skiers who want precision on reds, blacks and hard snow. From €38.50/day.
• Platinum — the top level on this page, for expert skiers. From €49.50/day.
• Kids (Bronze, Silver and Gold - Junior) — children's sizes with bindings set to the child's weight. From €19/day.
• Ski touring and cross-country — touring set (Platinum, €51.50/day) and cross-country set (Platinum, €28/day).

For snowboarders there are four adult levels — Bronce (€30/day), Silver (€38.50/day), Gold (€49.50/day) and splitboard (€61/day) — and one for kids (Bronze - Junior, €24.50/day).

What each package includes

• Ski full set: skis with the bindings set, boots and poles.
• Skis only (from €20.50/day) or boots only (from €12.50/day), if you bring part of your own kit.
• Snowboard full set: board and boots. Board only from €28/day; boots only from €12.50/day.
• Ski touring: full set €51.50/day, skis only €50/day and boots only €18/day.

A helmet is not part of any package and cannot be added to this booking: bring your own.

In Winterberg the daily price does not drop when you add days: the total is the daily price multiplied by the days you book, and you see the full amount before paying. A two-day weekend in Bronce costs €49; a 7-day week, €171.50.

Where to collect and return

Collection is at CaranvaSports Winterberg. The exact collection point in Winterberg and its opening hours are in your booking confirmation email. Your boots are fitted and your kit adjusted there, and on your last day you return everything to the same place. Bear in mind that the Skiliftkarussell lifts run from 9:00 to 16:30.

The Skiliftkarussell has car parks P1 to P7, and there is a direct train from Dortmund (about 108 minutes). With a valid lift pass, the ski bus runs from car park P5 Nordhang to Neuastenberg (Postwiese), Altastenberg and the Sahnehang.

3. Pay online and receive the confirmation email with the collection point in Winterberg.

Winterberg at a glance

The Skiliftkarussell Winterberg is the largest ski area in the Sauerland: 34 runs and 27.5 km of pistes (14 km blue, 12 km red and 1.5 km black), with lift stations between 602 m (Kappe valley station) and 813 m (Brembergkopf). Up to 360 snow guns cover 26 ski runs and 3 sledging slopes, 27 km in all. With the same lift pass and the ski bus you can also ski Postwiese Neuastenberg (16 runs and a fun park) and the Skikarussell Altastenberg (17 runs): 45 km of pistes and 46 lifts together.

On Tuesdays and Fridays, snow permitting, there is floodlit skiing from 18:30 to 22:00 on up to 14 slopes, with a separate evening ticket.

2026/27 season: according to the Skiliftkarussell, the season runs from mid-December to mid-March; it opens once there is around 30 cm of snow or it is cold enough to make snow, and no opening date has been published yet. A one-day lift pass costs €53 for adults (from 9:00; €48 from 11:00, ticket offices only) and €30 for children up to 15; 3 days €136 and 6 days €224. From 3 days it is also valid in Willingen and Bödefeld-Hunau, and children aged 5 and under pay nothing when skiing with a paying adult.
