Formigal-Panticosa is the largest ski resort in Spain with over 140 km of slopes in the Aragonese Pyrenees. Four distinct sectors — Anayet, Izas, Sarriós, and Portalet — offer terrain for all levels, from beginners to advanced freeriders.

What do you need to ski in Formigal?

• Lift pass: Online booking is always cheaper than at the ticket office. Avoid lines of up to 45 minutes during peak season.
• Ski equipment: Skis, boots, poles, and helmet. Rent online and pick up without waiting.
• Technical clothing: Waterproof jacket, snow pants, gloves, and goggles. Available for rent if you don’t have them.
• Ski insurance: Highly recommended. Covers on-piste rescues and medical assistance.
• Lessons: If it’s your first time or you want to improve your technique, Formigal’s schools have certified instructors.

Formigal by Sectors

• Anayet (2,200 m): The highest, best snow, red and black slopes for advanced skiers.
• Izas (2,100 m): The most family-friendly, green and blue slopes, learning area.
• Sarriós (2,050 m): Long intermediate slopes, less crowded.
• Portalet (1,800 m): Main access to the resort.
