Ischgl and the Silvretta Arena at a glance
Ischgl lies in the Paznaun valley in the Tyrol (Austria) and, together with Samnaun in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, forms the Silvretta Arena: 239 km of pistes over some 515 hectares, between 1,377 and 2,872 m, with 46 lifts and more than 1,100 snow guns. It is the third-largest ski area in the Tyrol, and the local tourist board pitches it at confident and expert skiers: 47 km of blue runs, 140 km of red and 47 km of black.
2026/27 season: 26 November 2026 to 2 May 2027. You can ski across into Switzerland on the Schmugglerrunde, the smugglers’ circuit. Take the train to Landeck-Zams and then bus 260; the nearest airport is Innsbruck, about 100 km away.
We don’t sell lift passes. For 2026/27, a one-day adult pass for Ischgl/Samnaun (46 lifts) costs €83 and a child’s €51. For longer stays, guests with an Ischgl or Mathon guest card can buy the VIP Skipass (6 days, adult, €385); without one it’s the Silvretta Skipass (6 days, €451), which also covers Galtür, Kappl and See — 75 lifts in all. Children under 10 skiing with a parent don’t pay for the VIP Skipass.
