You book your ski or snowboard equipment for the Brauneck online and collect it at our collection point in Lenggries, ready under your name: there your boots are fitted and your bindings are set to your weight and ability. Sizes are adjusted when you collect. On the Brauneck most runs are intermediate, so Bronce or Silver is enough for most skiers.

• Bronce — for beginners and anyone who skis only a few days a year: easy-turning, forgiving skis. Full set from €24.50/day.
• Silver — if you are confident on intermediate runs and want more stability. From €30/day.
• Gold — for advanced skiers who want precision on difficult runs and hard snow. From €38.50/day.
• Platinum — the top range on this page, for expert skiers. From €49.50/day.
• Children (Bronze, Silver and Gold - Junior) — children's sizes with bindings set to the child's weight. From €19/day.
• Ski touring and cross-country — touring kit (Platinum, €51.50/day) and cross-country kit (Platinum, €28/day).

For snowboarding there are four adult ranges — Bronce (€30/day), Silver (€38.50/day), Gold (€49.50/day) and splitboard (€61/day) — and one for children (Bronze - Junior, €24.50/day).

What each pack includes

• Ski full set: skis with adjusted bindings, boots and poles.
• Skis only (from €20.50/day) or boots only (from €12.50/day), if you bring part of your own kit.
• Snowboard full set: board and boots. Board only from €28/day; boots only from €12.50/day.

A helmet is not part of any pack and cannot be added to this booking: please bring your own.

In Lenggries the daily price does not drop as you add days: the total is the daily price multiplied by the days you book, and you see it in full before you pay.

Where and when to collect and return

You collect the equipment at our collection point in Lenggries. The exact location and its opening hours come in your booking confirmation email. You return it to the same point on the last day you booked.

There are three ways into the Brauneck ski area: the Brauneck gondola (Gilgenhöfe 28, Lenggries), with parking at the valley station, and the Draxlhang and Jaudenhang lifts in Wegscheid, where the parking fee is refunded when you buy a lift pass. By train, the BRB (RB 56) runs hourly from Munich to Lenggries, and buses 395, 364 and 353 take you to the gondola.

How booking works

1. Choose ski or snowboard, the range and whether you want the full set or a single item.
2. Pick your collection and return dates: the total appears straight away, in euros.
3. Pay online and receive the confirmation email with the collection point in Lenggries.
4. Go to the collection point, pick up your fitted kit and hit the slopes.

Lenggries and the Brauneck at a glance

Lenggries lies in the Isarwinkel in the Bavarian Pre-Alps, 60 km from Munich, and the Brauneck is its local mountain: the Brauneck-Wegscheid ski area runs from 716 to 1,712 m, with 15 lifts (1 gondola, 4 chairlifts and 10 drag lifts) and 20 groomed runs totalling 30.7 km: 3 easy (3.5 km), 14 intermediate (20.7 km) and 3 difficult (6.5 km). Snowmaking covers 23 km, 70% of the runs. A men's World Cup slalom was held on the black Garland run in 1980, and there are 16 huts and inns on the mountain.

It is very family-friendly: three children's areas with ski schools, and beginner slopes on the Streidlhang (Lenggries) and the Draxlhang and Jaudenhang (Wegscheid).

2026/27 season: the gondola runs from 5 December 2026 to 29 March 2027, daily from 08:15 to 16:30; the other lifts open depending on snow from December 2026 to March 2027, from 08:15 to 16:00. The lift pass is not included: the 2026/27 Alpen Plus multi-day pass costs €106 (2 days) or €309 (6 days out of 8) for adults, plus a €3 card deposit, and is also valid at Spitzingsee-Tegernsee, Sudelfeld and the Wallberg; the 2026/27 day-pass price has not been published yet. According to the Brauneck Bergbahn, no other Bavarian ski area has as many huts.
