Types of lesson and indicative price

- Private lesson (2 h) — the lesson is just for you: the instructor focuses on your technique and you progress at your own pace. If several of you want to share it, say so in the request and we will tell you whether that is possible. Indicative price: €89 per day.
- Lessons for children — choose the “Children” level, group (€42 per day) or private (€89 per day). The minimum age and how the lesson is organised depend on the school, and we tell you in the confirmation.
Levels: beginner if you have never skied or hardly ever; intermediate if you already ski easy runs linking your turns; advanced if you ski intermediate runs and want to polish your technique or take on more demanding terrain.

At Christmas, Easter, during school holidays and at weekends demand is much higher: send your request early to get the time slot you want.
What is not included
The price covers the lesson only. It does not include the lift pass, which you buy separately, or the equipment: if you have no skis, boots and poles, you can book ski hire in Lenggries, and to stay warm, ski clothing hire at the Brauneck. A helmet is strongly recommended, especially for children.
Learning to ski at the Brauneck
The Brauneck is Lenggries' ski mountain, in the Bavarian Prealps, 60 km from Munich. According to its official website, the Brauneck-Wegscheid area ranges from 716 to 1,712 m, with 15 lifts and 30.7 km of groomed runs: 3 easy, 14 intermediate and 3 difficult.
For the first days, the official website recommends the blue runs: the Streidlhang in Lenggries, with a rope tow and a drag lift, and the Draxlhang and Jaudenhang in Wegscheid. All three slopes have ski schools with their own areas for small children, and the ski area has three children's areas with conveyor belts and rope tows. We confirm your lesson's meeting point by email.
2026/27 season: the Brauneck gondola runs from 5 December 2026 to 29 March 2027, 08:15 to 16:30; the drag lifts operate from December to March depending on snow. From Munich, the BRB train (line RB 56) runs hourly to Lenggries, and a bus goes from the station to the gondola.
