A day's skiing in Astún costs an adult around €88: a day lift pass bought online (€53 in 2025/26; the 2026/27 rate has not been published yet), a full beginner set (€26) and a helmet (€9). A two-day weekend comes to around €182 and three days to around €270. For a child, the day comes to around €75.

Equipment is the item that changes least: ski hire in Astún has a fixed price per day, from €26 for the full adult set (skis and boots) and €21 for the child's, so 3 days come to €78 and €63. You collect it from our shop in Astún, 15 metres from the lifts of the Astún ski resort.

Budget for skiing in Astún in 2026/27

Figures per person. The lift pass is the 2025/26 one, for reference (adult online for one day and the published rate for 2 and 3 days); hire is the Beginner range (adult) and Children's range, at the daily price multiplied by the number of days, as is the helmet (€9 a day).

If you already ski confidently, the Intermediate range costs €32 a day and Advanced €44; for snowboarding, the full Intermediate set comes to €34 a day. If you have your own boots, hiring just the beginner skis costs €18 a day.

And lessons?

They are optional, but if it is your first time they are worth it. For 2025/26 the Astún Official Ski School published a 5-hour weekend group course (Saturday 12:00 to 15:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 12:00) for €69.50 per person from age 6, and one-hour private lessons from €51 for one or two people. At Christmas, Epiphany and Easter there are 8-hour courses for €99. These are last season's rates: check the 2026/27 ones on the resort's website.

How much the Astún lift pass costs

Astún and Candanchú sell a joint lift pass. In 2025/26 an adult day pass cost €57.50 at the ticket office and €53 online; the child and senior pass, €49 at the ticket office and €45 online, and the adult half-day pass, €43. The first time you also pay for the card that holds the pass, €3 non-refundable, which you can top up on later trips. Deals for skiing more cheaply in Astún

  • Ski Pirineos season pass: valid in Astún and the other resorts in Aragon. It costs €959 until 8 October and €1,059 until 19 November (we explain it in the news piece on the Ski Pirineos season pass); with a lift pass of around €53 a day, it pays off from about 18 days of skiing (20 if you buy it in November). Until 8 October there is also a weekday version for €650.
  • Buy your lift pass online: in 2025/26 it was €4.50 less per adult per day than at the ticket office.
  • School lift pass: in 2025/26 pupils aged 3 to 18 at schools in Aragon had a day pass for €22, bought in person with a certificate from their school.
  • Pre-season hire: book your equipment before 15 November 2026 and you get a 10 % discount; 3 days of the full beginner set come down to €70.20.
