Ski school in Spitzingsee: book ski lessons
With this listing you request a ski lesson in Spitzingsee without paying anything online. You choose the level — beginner, intermediate, advanced or kids —, the type of lesson — group or private, 2 hours each — and the number of days. Caranva looks for a place at a local ski school and, before the lesson, emails you the school, meeting point, time and final price. You pay for the lesson directly at the school.
Types of lesson and indicative prices
- Group lesson (2 h) — €42 per day, indicative price. You learn with other skiers of a similar level. It costs less than a private lesson and works well for your first days or to build confidence.
- Private lesson (2 h) — €89 per day, indicative price. The instructor is with you alone, so the pace and drills follow what you want to improve: your first turns, more confidence on intermediate runs or finer technique.
- Ski lessons for kids — group €42 or private €89 per day, indicative price. Choose the “Kids” level and the type of lesson. The minimum age and conditions are set by the school, and we include them in the confirmation.
All four levels have the same indicative price per day. The total is the daily price × the number of days:
| Days | Group (2 h) | Private (2 h) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 day | €42 | €89 |
| 2 days | €84 | €178 |
| 3 days | €126 | €267 |
| 4 days | €168 | €356 |
| 5 days | €210 | €445 |
These are indicative prices: the school sets the final price and we confirm it by email before the lesson.
How the request works, in 4 steps
- Choose and send your request. Level, group or private, date and number of days. Nothing is paid online.
- We find your place. Caranva looks for the lesson at a local ski school in Spitzingsee.
- We confirm by email. Before the lesson you receive the school, meeting point, time and final price. If we can't find a place, we tell you and you pay nothing.
- You pay at the school. The lesson is paid directly at the ski school, not on the website.
Until we have confirmed your request, cancelling it costs nothing. We include the school's cancellation conditions in the confirmation.
Tip: at Christmas, Easter, during school holidays and at weekends ski lessons are in higher demand; if you know your dates, send your request early.

Spitzingsee: the ski area at a glance
The Spitzingsee-Tegernsee ski area wraps around the Stümpfling and Roßkopf mountains and links the Spitzingsee valley with the Tegernsee valley; the area lies between 1,100 and 1,800 m. Most runs are intermediate, but there is room for beginners too: of its 10 runs, three are easy (Funslope, Dreitannenhang and Valepperalm-Übungshang). The season runs from December to the end of March, and the start depends on weather and snow. From Munich, the RB 55 train runs hourly to Schliersee, where RVO buses continue to the base stations.
For first days on skis, the official website recommends the blue runs: there is a Kidspark right next to the Stümpflingbahn base station — the Valepper Übungshang — and beginner slopes at the Kurvenlift base station, such as the Bayernhang rope tow. On Thursdays and Fridays, from 18:30 to 21:30, there is floodlit skiing on the Stümpfling run.

Can I cancel?
Until we have confirmed your request, cancelling costs nothing. Once confirmed, the school's cancellation conditions apply, and we include them in the confirmation.
Where do beginners learn to ski at Spitzingsee?
