Which range should you hire in Courmayeur?

You choose the range when you book; the shop sets the ski length when you collect, based on your height, weight and level.

• Bronze — for beginners or people who ski a few days a year: easy-turning, forgiving skis. Full set from €24.50 a day.
• Silver — for skiers who are comfortable on blues (Courmayeur has 11) and are moving on to reds. From €30 a day.
• Gold — for advanced skiers spending the day on the 17 red and 5 black runs who want more grip at speed. From €38.50 a day.
• Platinum — for expert skiers who push their kit in any snow. From €49.50 a day.
• Ski touring (Platinum) — touring set for climbing under your own steam. From €51.50 a day.
• Cross-country (Platinum) — full Nordic ski set. €28 a day.
• Kids — junior kit with bindings set to the child's weight, in three ranges: Bronze from €19 a day, Silver €24.50 and Gold €40.
• Snowboard — board and boots: Bronze (Step On) from €30 a day, Silver €38.50, Gold €49.50, kids €24.50 and splitboard €61.

What does each pack include?

• Full ski set: skis with bindings set to your weight, height and level, boots and poles.
• Skis only: if you bring your own boots. From €20.50 a day.
• Boots only: if you bring your own skis. From €12.50 a day.
• Full snowboard set: board and boots. You can also hire just the board (from €28 a day) or just the boots (from €12.50 a day).

Helmets are not included in any pack and cannot be booked on this page.

How much is ski rental in Courmayeur for several days?

Total for the full set by number of days. In Courmayeur every day costs the same: the total is the daily price multiplied by the days, and you see it when you pick your dates, before paying.

Where and when do you collect your skis?

• Collection point: our Courmayeur shop (CaranvaSports Courmayeur). The exact address is in your booking confirmation email.
• Opening hours: sent with the address in your confirmation email.
• Return: to the same place at the end of your last hire day.

There are three ways up to the slopes: the Dolonne gondola, the Courmayeur cable car, which leaves the village for Plan Chécrouit, and the Val Veny cable car. All three have parking: Dolonne €1.50 an hour from 8am to 4pm, Courmayeur €6 a day, Val Veny €5 a day. The lifts run Monday to Friday from 8.45am to 5pm, and from 8.25am at weekends and on holidays.

How does booking work?

1. Choose ski or snowboard, the range and the pack (full set, skis or board only, boots only).
2. Pick your collection and return dates: the total shows up straight away.
3. Enter each skier's height, weight, level and shoe size and pay online.
4. Get the collection point address by email and pick up your kit, already set up, without queuing. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before and the CaranvaSports Guarantee.

Courmayeur at a glance

Courmayeur sits in the Aosta Valley at 1,224 m, on the Italian side of Mont Blanc. The ski area climbs from 1,210 m at Dolonne to 2,755 m at Cresta d'Arp, with its hub at Plan Chécrouit (1,704 m) and a second side facing the Val Veny. 2026/27 season: 28 November 2026 to 11 April 2027.

It has 18 lifts and 33 runs (11 blue, 17 red and 5 black) totalling 42.4 km, plus about 100 km of pistes and off-piste combined. Beginners have their own ticket, which includes the Tzaly and Chiecco drag lifts.

The Skyway Monte Bianco leaves from the village, with cabins that rotate 360° on the way up to Punta Helbronner (3,466 m). It is the start of the Vallée Blanche, more than 20 km down the glaciers to Chamonix, always skied with a mountain guide.

Lift passes are not included in the hire and we don't sell them: buy them at courmayeur-montblanc.com or at the ticket office. Prices are dynamic; on 7 October 2026 the official site listed a 2026/27 adult day pass at €75 (€90 with the Skyway) and 6 days at €396. Children under 8 pay nothing for a pass when an adult buys the same pass. In Italy skiers must have third-party liability insurance: if you don't, you can add it for €3.50 when you buy your pass.
