Book your ski rental for Les Deux Alpes online before you travel and collect it fitted to your size and level, instead of losing your first morning in the hire shop. Les 2 Alpes is the Oisans resort whose pistes start on the glacier at 3,600 m.

Which level should you choose in Les Deux Alpes?

• Beginner — for first-timers and occasional skiers: easy-turning, forgiving skis. In Les 2 Alpes the beginner areas are at 2,100 m and 2,600 m. Full set from €32/day.
• Intermediate — for skiers who are comfortable on blue and red runs: the resort has 47 blues and 17 reds. €39/day.
• Advanced — for skiers who want grip and stability at higher speed, including on the 14 black runs and the descent from the glacier. €46/day.
• Ski touring — kit for skinning up under your own steam and skiing off-piste. €53/day (skis only, €40). Avalanche safety gear (transceiver, shovel and probe) is not included.
• Kids — children’s kit with bindings set to the child’s weight. €16/day.
• Snowboard — board and boots at the same levels: beginner €32/day, intermediate €39, advanced €46 and kids €16. The Les 2 Alpes snowpark is at 2,600 m.

What does each package include?

• Full ski set: skis with bindings set to your weight, height and level, boots and poles.
• Skis only: if you bring your own boots. From €24/day (kids, €12).
• Boots only: if you bring your own skis. From €24/day (kids, €12).
• Full snowboard set: board and boots. You can also hire just the board or just the boots, from €24/day.

A helmet is not included in any package and cannot be booked on this page.

How much does ski hire cost for several days in Les Deux Alpes?

Total for the full set by number of days. In Les 2 Alpes every day costs the same: the total is the daily price multiplied by the number of days, and you see it when you choose your dates, before paying. Snowboard hire costs the same as ski hire at each level.

Where and when do you collect your kit?

• Collection point: our Les 2 Alpes shop (CaranvaSports Les 2 Alpes). The exact address and opening hours are sent in your booking confirmation email.
• Return: to the same place at the end of your last hire day.

Getting there: Les 2 Alpes is 70 km from Grenoble; Grenoble Isère airport is 120 km away, Lyon-Saint Exupéry 160 km and Geneva 220 km. From 1 November to 31 March your car must have four winter or all-season tyres, or carry snow chains or snow socks.

How does booking work?

1. Choose ski or snowboard, the level and the package (full set, skis or board only, boots only).
2. Pick your collection and return dates: the total appears straight away.
3. Enter each skier’s height, weight, level and shoe size and pay online.

Les Deux Alpes at a glance

Les Deux Alpes (Les 2 Alpes) is in the Oisans, in the Isère département of the French Alps. The ski area has 220 km of pistes across 96 runs (18 green, 47 blue, 17 red and 14 black), with 75% of it above 2,000 m. The top, on the glacier, is at 3,600 m, and from there you can ski all the way down to the village of Mont-de-Lans at 1,300 m: a 2,300 m vertical drop without taking a single lift.

Since winter 2026 the beginner areas are at 2,100 m and 2,600 m; for a relaxed run there is the Balade du Jandri, a blue piste between 2,800 m and 3,200 m, and for freestyle the 2 Alpes Snowpark at 2,600 m.

2026/27 season: 28 November 2026 to 2 May 2027. On the high-altitude area you can also ski in May, June and into early July.

Lift passes are not included in the hire. Official winter 2027 prices: €68 for a day and €333 for 6 days for adults; €54.50 and €266.50 for children aged 5 to 12. Under-5s don’t pay, but still need a pass. With the SkiPass Supernova you can also ski Alpe d’Huez and La Grave.
