Feldberg at a glance

The Feldberg (1,493 m) is the highest summit in the Black Forest, in the Hochschwarzwald. Its ski area, the Liftverbund Feldberg, has 16 pistes spread across Seebuck, Grafenmatt and Fahl, with chairlifts such as the Feldbergbahn, the Zeigerbahn and the Herzogenhornbahn. The longest run, the Wiesenquelle, is about 3 km; there are four fun slopes, easy runs to learn on and the FIS World Cup piste.

The lifts run every day from 9:00 to 16:30, bank holidays included (until 15:00 on 24 December). The season depends on the snow: 2025/26 was scheduled from 28 November 2025 to 6 April 2026, and the 2026/27 opening date has not been published yet.

By car it is about 50 minutes from Freiburg via the B31 and B317; by public transport, around an hour from Freiburg Hauptbahnhof: the Höllentalbahn train to Titisee or Bärental, then bus 7300.

The lift pass is not included in the hire and we do not sell it. The Feldberg uses dynamic pricing: hourly, day and multi-day passes are recalculated daily according to booking date and demand, and are sold in the official online shop or at the Seebuck and Grafenmatt ticket desks. The 2026/27 Jahreskarte (season pass) costs €450 for adults if bought online by 15 December 2026; online pre-sale starts on 2 November 2026.
